As industry evolves, education must evolve with it. That’s why SIAS is pleased to welcome Preston College as a SIAS Approved Centre, expanding access to qualifications that equip learners with the skills employers need for the future.
Preston College has been approved to deliver the full suite of SIAS Hydrogen Qualifications, alongside the SIAS Level 1 Award in Using Artificial Intelligence to Support Study Skills and the SIAS Level 2 Award in Understanding Sustainability and Net Zero in Business.
Together, these qualifications provide learners with practical, industry-relevant knowledge in three of the UK’s fastest-growing priority areas, supporting the development of a workforce ready to embrace clean energy, digital transformation and the transition to a more sustainable economy.
Steve Smith, Managing Director of SIAS, said: “At SIAS, we’re committed to ensuring education keeps pace with industry. That’s why partnerships like this are so important. By working with Preston College, we’re making it easier for learners to access qualifications that reflect the needs of employers today, whilst helping to build the skilled workforce that will drive tomorrow’s industries.”
Linzi Monks, Director of Apprenticeships & Employer Engagement at Preston College said: “Preston College are delighted to become a SIAS Approved Centre and to offer qualifications in three areas that are shaping the future of industry and society. Hydrogen technologies, artificial intelligence and sustainability are all critical to the UK’s economic growth and net zero ambitions. These qualifications will enable our students to develop the knowledge, skills and confidence needed to succeed in emerging sectors, whilst supporting employers to build a workforce that is ready for the challenges and opportunities ahead.”
Preston College’s approval further strengthens the growing network of SIAS Approved Centres, extending access to qualifications that are designed to support learners, employers and the industries they serve.
