SIAS has marked a significant milestone in its international growth with the approval of Tamkeen Institute of Technology as its first Approved Centre in Saudi Arabia.

The approval has been supported through SIAS’ relationship with the Federation of Awarding Organisations (FAO), SIAS’s Regional Representative for the Kingdon of Saudi Arabia and the GCC, whose collaboration has helped strengthen the organisation’s growing presence across the region.

The partnership represents SIAS’ entry into a rapidly developing international market and reinforces its commitment to working with trusted education providers to deliver high-quality, industry-led training that responds to the changing needs of employers.

As a SIAS Approved Centre, Tamkeen Institute of Technology will deliver two SIAS Endorsed programmes:

  • Diploma in Sustainable Corporate Asset and Resources Management (SCARM)
  • Diploma in Occupational Health & Safety

The programmes have been selected to support the growing demand for skills in sustainability, operational excellence and workplace safety. Together, they will provide learners with the practical knowledge and professional competence needed to help organisations improve performance, manage risk and embed sustainable practices across their operations.

Steve Smith, Managing Director of SIAS, said: “Saudi Arabia is investing heavily in the skills needed to support its future economy, and we’re proud to establish our first Approved Centre in the country with Tamkeen Institute of Technology. This partnership is about creating opportunities for learners, supporting employers and raising professional standards in areas that are becoming increasingly important across every sector.

“We are also grateful to the Federation of Awarding Organisations for its support in facilitating this partnership and for its continued work in strengthening relationships across the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. We look forward to working closely with Tamkeen as we continue to grow our international network and bring SIAS quality assurance to new markets.”

A quote from Tamkeen:

“We are truly delighted that Tamkeen Institute of technology has been officially recognised as a SIAS Approved Centre. This achievement marks an important milestone for us, and we greatly appreciate the support and guidance provided by FAO throughout the approval process.”

The approval of Tamkeen Institute of Technology builds on SIAS’ growing international presence and demonstrates the organisation’s commitment to developing global partnerships that improve access to high-quality technical and professional education. By working with organisations that share its focus on quality, innovation and employer needs, SIAS is helping to build a skilled workforce capable of meeting the demands of modern industry.

Working in partnership with FAO also supports SIAS’ wider regional growth strategy, with discussions already underway with a number of additional centres across Saudi Arabia and the GCC to expand access to SIAS Approved Centre status and SIAS Endorsed programmes.
