Job Purpose

To complete internal quality assurance on L6 Materials Science Technologist End-Point Assessments.

This role will involve moderating completed End-Point Assessments to ensure that grading is completed accurately and consistently.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Carry out and document quality assurance in line with SIAS’s, policies and procedures as well as any regulatory requirements
  • Provide feedback and development action points to End-Point Assessors
  • Ensure all moderation reports are high quality and completed correctly and accurately.
  • Maintain service-level agreements with regards to completion of moderation to deadline.
  • Participate in training and standardisation activities.
  • Raise any conflicts of interest.
  • Respond to SIAS feedback from Lead IQA to continuously improve own performance
  • Maintain and provide evidence of ongoing, relevant Continuous Professional Development (CPD).
